The application process is open from now until 14 June 2018, for all new applications to be registered on the Spanish Government Subsidised Pensioner Holidays, known as Imserso.  To register you need to be a fiscal resident in Spain in receipt of a pension/retired.

The holidays are very generously subsidised and include destinations to the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands and also coastal Spain from north of Barcelona to the very south of Spain, almost to Portugal.  All manners of transport are included, so your holiday could be by train, bus or flight, and there is also the option of making your own way to some destinations too.  The holidays are full board in your chosen hotel and include wine and water at mealtimes.

Booking period is normally around mid September, with allocated dates to ensure everyone on the scheme gets a choice of holidays.  The travel period is generally Sept – June and excluding July and August.  Christmas and New Year are also available.
